La Reliure’s expertise praised in South Africa
A year after its first visit to South Africa, La Reliure du Limousin made a long-awaited return to Cape Town last March. Our team took up residence at the famous Iziko National Museum, which houses important African collections in the fields of zoology, palaeontology and archaeology.
The operation was particularly unique as it involved our talented apprentices, who worked under the expert guidance of Éric Celle, the director of our esteemed training center. Their mission was to restore a magnificent watercolor, notable for its extraordinary size of 7.22 meters by 2.98 meters.
