Administrative bookbinding

The workshop engages in a number of important activities, including handmade bookbinding and gold tooling of administrative documents. By employing traditional craft methods codified by the Archives de France, we are contributing to the long-term preservation of administrative documents. The techniques and materials used are fully compliant with the specifications set out by the Archives de France.

Our gold toolers continue the tradition of traditional bookbinding, using traditional hand gold tooling techniques with precision and care.

Regulatory news for 2023 :

With the decade of civil registration documents from 2013 to 2022 coming to an end, municipalities must prepare for the binding of these civil status documents (births and recognitions, marriages, and deaths).

Our craftspersons are committed to binding your documents in accordance with the rules set forth by the Archives of France and Decree No. 2010-783.

We guarantee you a high-quality service carried out as quickly as possible. Each register, crafted entirely by hand, undergoes quality control before delivery, in order to guarantee optimum quality.

All services, from covering to the gold tooling phase, are carried out by us in our workshops in Brive-la-Gaillarde, in Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
