Expertise in conservation since 1950
The creation of La Reliure du Limousin dates back to the early 1950s in the Corrèze region. Mr Ferret, the company’s founder, set up a workshop specializing in bookbinding and book covers restoration for libraries. This conservation workshop rapidly established itself as a leading authority in the field, gaining a reputation for the exceptional quality of its work.
Trained by the Bibliothèque Nationale (French national library), he was soon well schooled and was entrusted with the restoration of precious works in the Bibliothèque du Sénat and the Bibliothèque de l’Assemblée Nationale, becoming a renowned restorer of old books.

Mr Ferret, a renowned restorer of old books, welcomed new colleagues to continue the legacy he had built up.
For over 30 years, Mr Guionie has continued the work of the founder, demonstrating a growing commitment to rigorous standards, quality, and respect for the documents entrusted to him.
